   Our    Dried Fruits

We are dedicated to providing high quality, sustainable, and healthy dried fruits.

Our dried fruits are made by firstly mechanically slicing the fruit, and then drying it with hot air at around 60°C for several hours. The fruit is then packed and sealed to ensure the maximum freshness and flavour is preserved. All of this is done without chemical processing, or any additives, to produce Clear Mountain's natural and delicious dried fruit selection.

Our dried fruit is simply 100% natural fruit, which has had its water content removed through hot air drying. This shrinks the fruit, and causes changes in texture and density. Our dried fruit is packed full of nutrients, firstly due to all of our fruits being grown outdoors and without the use of chemicals, producing natural and nutrient rich fruits, and secondly through the drying process, where our fruits are reduced greatly providing around five times as many vitamins and nutrients when compared gram for gram with their fresh counterparts. Dried fruits are also packed full of minerals and polyphenols.

Dried fruits have many uses. They can be eaten alone, making an ideal healthy snack due to easiness and cleanliness when compared with fresh fruit. Dried fruits can also be used as ingredients in both deserts and savoury recipes. Dried fruits can also be used to great effect in making drinks and naturally flavoured waters.
